Summer ballet course
Elementary Level
The Intensive Summer Course of the Africa Guzman Ballet School will be held in Madrid from June 24th to July 19th, 2024.
For the Elementary level, the course will be held in the morning from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, there will be two daily classes of different specialties between Classical Ballet, Pointe, Character, Hip Hop and also Artistic Workshops. Depending on the number of students, the course schedule could be modified.
The summer course has a duration of FOUR WEEKS, it can be done in its entirety or by independent weeks.
The price is 200€ per week, students who take the four weeks of the course will enjoy a 10% discount on the total.
To enjoy the discount the four weeks must be contracted before the beginning of the Summer Course, once the registration period has passed, each single week will be 200€.
The capacity for the classes will be limited, so it is essential to reserve a place for registration.
The reservation fee will be 100 € and will be made through the Banco Sabadell account ES15 0081 0233 8000 0132 5034, including in the concept Dance Summer Course 2024 and the NAME OF THE STUDENT.
Once the reservation has been made, the transfer receipt will be sent to the e-mail secretaria@escueladeballetafricaguzman.com indicating the student’s full name, date of birth and the number of weeks for which the reservation is being made.
The full payment of the course will be made through the same account before June 10th.
The reservation fee will NOT be refunded if the student decides to cancel his/her attendance. In the event that the School is forced to CANCEL the course, the full amount of the reservation will be refunded.
Intermediate – Advanced Levels
The Summer Intensive Course of the Africa Guzman Ballet School will be held in Madrid from June 24th to July 19th, 2024.
The classes will be taught by the directors of the school AFRICA GUZMÁN, Former Prima Ballerina of the National Dance Company and the Netherlands Dance Theater, Assistant of the ballets of Nacho Duato, Choreographer, International Teacher, MARÍA EUROPA GUZMÁN, Former Dancer of the National Dance Company, Teacher Member of the Royal Academy of Dance and President of the Dance Sectorial of ACADE and JULIETTA DE OCEANÍA, Teacher Member of the Royal Academy of Dance, and the school teachers MARIANO CARDANO, soloist of Ballet Victor Ullate, choreographer, contemporary teacher, BARBARA FRTSCHE, dancer, choreographer and international contemporary teacher.
In addition we will have MASTER CLASSES with international ballet stars CRISTINA CASA Principal Dancer of the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Corella Ballet, English National Ballet, THOMAS GIGOVAZ, Soloist of the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Washington Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Slovenian National Ballet, ELISABETTA FORMENTO, Soloist of the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Het National Ballet, Estonian National Ballet, Polish National Ballet, ION AGUIRRETXE, Soloist of the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Corella Ballet, La Mov, Europa Danse
For the Intermediate and Advanced levels the course will be held in the morning from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm for the Intermediate II level in the afternoon from 4.00 pm. pm to 7.30 pm.
There will be three daily classes of different specialties between Classical Ballet, Pointe, Repertory, Contemporary and Pas de Deux (always subject to the number of male students and that the protocol of sanitary measures allow us to do so). Depending on the number of students, course schedules may be subject to change.
The summer course has a duration of FOUR WEEKS, it can be done in its entirety or by independent weeks.
The price is 250 € per week, students who take the four weeks of the course will enjoy a 10% discount on the total.
